This place is incredible!! We had the pleasure of working with Dave and Lynn while recording at Cool Brick Studios last week. Their gear was beautiful as was the facility itself. Nestled in the heart of downtown Carbondale, the studio from the outside is a quaint and unassuming brick house with a beautiful yard and some fun neon signs in the windows. Once you step inside you see a house transformed into a state of the art music studio with multiple rooms for tracking. We had a great experience recording and filming our Live EP here and will absolutely be back if we find ourselves in the area again!

I was the lucky winner of the Carbondale Mountain Fair singer-songwriter contest last year, and one of my prizes was getting to record at Cool Brick Studios. I ended up using the time to make some live acoustic recordings with my duo project, and not only did the owner of the studio, Dave, provide incredible audio equipment and expertise, but he also helped us realize our vision of filming the session with his high end camera gear. The result was a wonderfully fun and successful session! As a vocalist, I really appreciate having great sound in my headphones while recording and Dave really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. So excited to finish these recordings and put them out! Highly recommend the studio to anybody in the valley and beyond 🙂

Cool Brick Studios is like one of these new bands that play funk and soul—it is contemporary with a vintage look and feel. Super sleek studio space and cozy. Dave is professional, gracious, and supportive. You will find your sound will be perfectly extracted in his space. He can record a quick 1/2 day set with you in live takes, or track out each performer for that produced sound. Thanks Dave!!!
